As Audiovisual Integrators research different options for remote monitoring they need to be leery of products that promote unchecked tunneling through corporate firewalls. In today’s climate of robust data security to suggest that someone can access a secure network by tunneling through a device via HTTPS is reckless. Although it may sound like a good idea for easy remote management, telling corporate IT you can gain access to their network through a device no one can track isn’t something they’re going to celebrate.
